Caleb Banister is one of the co-founders of LayerZero, a cross-chain interoperability platform that enables developers to create decentralized applications (dApps) that work seamlessly across multiple blockchains. [1][2]
Banister graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Computer Science in 2010. As a student, he worked as a software developer for UNH InterOperability Lab, where he worked on test automation software for Broadband equipment. He also met Bryan Pellegrino and Ryan Zarick, LayerZero’s other co-founders. [1]
After graduation, Banister co-founded Coder Den, a tech company that designed and implemented full mobile applications, with Pellegrino. He worked there for ten years and co-founded two other companies with Pellegrino and Zarick: 80Trill, a crypto company specializing in writing and auditing smart contracts, and Minimal AI. In February 2021, he co-founded LayerZero Labs with Pellegrino and Zarick. [1][3][4]
