Coley earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.

Coley began his professional career as a software engineer at the aerospace and defense technology company Northrop Grumman.

After discovering blockchain in late 2016, Coley left his job in late 2017 to work on crypto-related projects full-time.

Eric Coley co-founded Indigo Laboratories, the entity behind the Indigo Protocol, alongside Dewayne Cameron to build a synthetic assets protocol on Cardano.
