Plasma launched its mainnet beta, a Proof-of-Stake network optimized for stablecoins, with over $2 billion in initial liquidity.

The official X account for the Plasma Foundation (@PlasmaFDN) was created, establishing its social media presence ahead of its launch.

Plasma raised over $75 million through a $24 million VC round led by Framework and Bitfinex, and a $51 million public sale (IEO) conducted earlier in the year.

The native token, XPL, was listed on major exchanges including Binance and OKX, debuting with a market capitalization of over $2.4 billion.

Bitget Wallet was announced as an official launch partner, integrating the Plasma mainnet to provide its 80 million users with direct access to the ecosystem.
