The Ethereum Foundation officially announced the formation of the Privacy Cluster, expanding its commitment to making privacy a core feature of the Ethereum ecosystem.

The Ethereum Foundation began its formal support for privacy R&D with the establishment of the Privacy and Scaling Explorations (PSE) team, the predecessor to the Privacy Cluster.

As part of the Privacy Cluster launch, new efforts were announced, including Kohaku, a privacy-preserving wallet SDK, and the Institutional Privacy Task Force (IPTF).
