## Education

## Career

Song began his financial services career at Deutsche Bank in Singapore, where he worked as a Client Services Manager from 1997 to 2003. He then joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Assistant Treasurer, serving from 2003 to 2005, before moving to State Street as a Fund Services Manager for eight months in 2005. Song joined Schroders in December 2005 and spent more than 15 years leading teams across the firm's Portfolio Services functions in Asia. His responsibilities included corporate actions, data services, portfolio reporting, performance, trade and derivatives operations, cash operations, reconciliation, onboarding, and transitions. During this period, he worked on regulatory reporting requirements involving EMIR, MAS, and ASIC, supported the launch of Schroders China QFII, and led initiatives to automate and streamline operational processes.

From January 2021 to January 2023, Song served as Global Head of Transaction Operations at Schroders, overseeing middle-office functions across APAC, EMEA, and the United States. He subsequently served as Operations Change Programme Manager from January 2023 to December 2024, working on operational transformation and program management.
