Ajayi Feyikemi Mabel is a Product Designer at IQ.wiki, leading all design endeavors across the entire IQ.wiki ecosystem.^[1]

Education

Mabel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University. There she studied biochemistry and molecular biology and gained additional knowledge in other science courses, including Computer Science.^[2]

Career

Mabel started her creative journey by registering for a design internship without any prior knowledge of product design in 2021 as an Intern UX Designer at Zuri Chat team and HNG Internship.^[3] At Zuri, she completed a 4-month UI and UX design training program, collaborating with designers and developers to create different products. During her HNG Internship, Mabel led a cross-functional team of 5, including developers and a digital marketer, for a product use case, overseeing implementation and effective communication of design decisions.^[3]

In October 2021, she joined the Zuri Chat team as a part-time UX Designer. There she worked on creating typography in the design system team and collaborated with the UX team to design missing flows for Zurichat.^[2]

In February 2022, she joined the IQ.wiki team as a Product Designer, designing intuitive user interfaces to help bring blockchain knowledge to the world. She is leading the interface design across mobile and web, simplifying technical web3 concepts, and improving user experiences.^[2]

Personal Activities & Interests

Feyikemi is an Executive member of Roadtrip community, a community of creatives from Nigeria and Africa who support each other in building successful careers in the design and Tech space. She also mentors aspiring designers in their pursuit of knowledge in product design. She is an avid music fan, loves to read, and enjoys creating digital art on Procreate.^[2][3]
