## Education

Ansgar Dietrichs completed his secondary education at Canisius-Kolleg Berlin, earning his Abitur in 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics (2020) from Freie Universität Berlin. ## Career

Ansgar Dietrichs is a researcher at the [Ethereum Foundation](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ethereum-foundation-ef), where he has contributed to [blockchain](https://iq.wiki/wiki/blockchain) research since June 2022. Prior to this, he worked as an R\&D Engineer at ConsenSys from October 2019 to May 2022, focusing on [Ethereum](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ethereum) core development. Earlier in his career, he served as a student assistant in the Machine Learning Group at Technische Universität Berlin (May 2017 – April 2019), conducting research in quantum chemistry and implementing machine learning models. Dietrichs has also held roles as a freelance back-end web developer at ABIHOME (June – November 2016) and as an intern at the German Federal Ministry of Finance (September – October 2015), where he supported research on international financial policy.
