# Education

Banister graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Computer Science in 2010. As a student, he worked as a software developer for UNH InterOperability Lab, where he worked on test automation software for Broadband equipment. # Career

After graduation, Banister co-founded Coder Den, a tech company that designed and implemented full mobile applications, with [Pellegrino](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bryan-pellegrino). He worked there for ten years and co-founded two other companies with [Pellegrino](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bryan-pellegrino) and [Zarick](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ryan-zarick): 80Trill, a crypto company specializing in writing and auditing [smart contracts](https://iq.wiki/wiki/smart-contract), and Minimal AI. In February 2021, he co-founded [LayerZero Labs](https://iq.wiki/wiki/layerzero) with [Pellegrino](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bryan-pellegrino) and [Zarick](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ryan-zarick).
