## Career

Porter began her career as a teacher with the JET Programme from July 1998 to July 2000. She then worked as a Consultant at Watson Wyatt from September 2000 to July 2003, before joining Oracle as an Internal Communications professional from July 2003 to January 2005. From January to November 2005, she held a similar Internal Communications role at Google. From November 2005 to October 2006, Porter was an Account Supervisor at OutCast Communications. She then joined Garnett & Helfrich Capital as Vice President, serving from October 2006 to June 2010, where she led global fundraising and participated in investment diligence and portfolio company operations. Porter joined LinkedIn in July 2010 as a Business Development professional and became responsible for General Management at LinkedIn Japan from January 2011 to July 2013, overseeing market strategy, operations, business development, sales, and the company's expansion in Japan.

From July 2013 to November 2017, Porter served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at OpenTable. She then joined Meta in November 2017 as Vice President of Global Partnerships at Meta Financial Technologies, remaining in the role until November 2022. She subsequently served as Chief Business Officer at Tilia from November 2022 to September 2023, while also becoming an advisor to Mysten Labs in November 2023. In February 2024, Porter became Chief Business Officer at Prove and Executive Advisor at Globis Capital Partners. She remained Chief Business Officer at Prove until September 2025, when she transitioned to Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, while her advisory role at Globis continued.
