Feng began his career with a project management internship at ING Nederland in Hong Kong in 2012, where he led a simulated product marketing and business planning project. In 2013, he worked at Hay Group in Beijing as a business analyst intern and analyst, conducting industry research and contributing to job-description and talent-management models for corporate clients. He then joined Bain & Company in Shanghai as an associate, focusing on consumer, industrial, and cross-border M\&A work, before moving to Athenee Advisory in 2015 as a senior associate and later vice president, where his work included management consulting, equity financing, and cross-border M\&A.

From 2019 to 2021, Feng was a senior associate at Beijing-based venture capital firm MPCi 经纬创投, where he focused on technology, media and telecommunications, software-as-a-service, and globalization investments.
