## Career

Zhang began his career in Global Markets at Citi and later worked in Corporate Development at The Walt Disney Company and Technology M\&A Advisory at The Blackstone Group. He then joined Facebook as a Product Manager, where he worked on Messenger Business and Platform, including the Messenger Bot Platform, and was the first product manager to lead mobile for News Feed. In 2017, Zhang co-founded Fam, a group video-calling application focused on helping users make new friends, which became part of Y Combinator's Summer 2017 batch and was later acquired by Eventbrite in 2023. He subsequently joined Eventbrite as Senior Director of Product Management, focusing on growth and social products. In 2024, Zhang co-founded Pocket Protector, a social trading product that enabled users to trade through group chats on Telegram.
