Elizabeth McCauley
Elizabeth (Ploshay) McCauley is a Bitcoin and Blockchain Development Professional based in the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. In 2016, she was named one of the top FinTech Influencers in the US.[1][2]
Education
Elizabeth attended Wheaton College and graduated in 2011 with a degree in political science.[2]
Career
In the beginning of her career, Ploshay worked in politics and interned for Congressmen Peter J. Roskam and Kevin Brady. She was a Staff Assistant for Targeted Victory and later in US Congress. In September 2012, Elizabeth became a Scheduler for Roskam.[3]
Eight months later, she officially entered the Blockchain space as the Manager of Communications of Bitcoin Magazine and a year later was promoted to Director of Operations at Outreach. In June 2014, she became an Account Manager at BitPay. Elizabeth was an Advisor to the BitGive Foundation and is currently an Advisor to Coin Congress.[3]
Elizabeth has been a Board Member of the Bitcoin Foundation since October 2013 and a Board Member of Code to Inspire since December 2014. Elizabeth has been the District Manager at Arbonne International, Head of Global Business Development at Coinsecure, and Head of Business Development of bridge21.[4]
