Coglitore studied business at the University of Southern California (USC). In 2020, USC Annenberg Media identified him as a sophomore and a participant in Troy Labs, a student-run platform that provides resources and mentorship to startups. At the time, he was developing Genie, an app intended to help undergraduate and graduate students repay student loans and become more financially independent.
