**FungoLabs** is an independent project building encrypted [non-fungible tokens](https://iq.wiki/wiki/non-fungible-token-nft) (NFTs) on [Ethereum](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ethereum) with [Zama](https://iq.wiki/wiki/zama)’s fully [homomorphic encryption](https://iq.wiki/wiki/homomorphic-encryption) (FHE) technology, which allows [smart contracts](https://iq.wiki/wiki/smart-contract) to compute on encrypted data without reading it. FungoLabs describes its planned collection as the first encrypted NFTs on Ethereum; its design keeps the NFT and its holder publicly visible while encrypting the NFT’s contents on-chain rather than concealing them on a separate server.[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)[\[2\]](#cite-id-9q43hga01f)

## Genesis Collection

The planned Fungo Genesis collection comprises 3,232 NFTs: 2,500 offered for sale in cZAMA, [Zama](https://iq.wiki/wiki/zama)’s confidential version of the ZAMA token; 500 free mints divided between whitelist applicants and nominees; and 232 allocated to the team. Unused free-mint spots are not minted. The whitelist mint is gas-only, limited to one NFT per approved account, and scheduled before the sale. FungoLabs announced that the Genesis NFTs were scheduled to mint on November 5, 2026.[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)[\[2\]](#cite-id-9q43hga01f)

The sale uses an encrypted bidding system built with Zama FHE, according to FungoLabs. In an illustrative sealed-bid auction, three NFTs had a minimum bid of 500 cZAMA; four participants bid 3,000, 1,500, 1,000, and 500 cZAMA, and the three highest bidders won. cZAMA balances and bid amounts remain encrypted on-chain. Users can obtain cZAMA by shielding ZAMA through Zama’s app.[\[2\]](#cite-id-9q43hga01f)[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)

## Encrypted NFT Design

At mint, [Zama](https://iq.wiki/wiki/zama)’s on-chain FHE randomness draws two 64-bit values for each NFT: a “look” and an “essence.” FungoLabs says both are encrypted from the moment they are created, without a metadata server, insider list, or back door.[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)

The essence is a 64-bit number containing a byte for class, four bytes for stats, one byte for element, and two bytes held in reserve. Its class, stats, and element remain encrypted on-chain and have no reveal function; only the current holder can view them.

The project lists class odds of Common at 50.0%, Rare at 30.1%, Ultra Rare at 14.8%, and Legendary at 5.1%. A holder may share the essence independently, but it cannot be made public on-chain.[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)

The look is the NFT’s art. It is sealed at mint but can be viewed privately by its holder in a browser. The holder may publish the art and its traits or keep them sealed. Only the holder can initiate publication, which is permanent, verifiable through Zama’s network, and recorded on-chain. A sealed NFT’s public representation displays a common mark and “Revealed: No”; after publication, its art and traits are public while its essence remains encrypted.[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)

## Viewing & Transfers

The NFT remains publicly held and transferable, and can trade on existing marketplaces. When a sale occurs, the seller loses the ability to view the NFT’s contents in the same transaction. In two stated exceptional cases—if the sale occurs in the same [block](https://iq.wiki/wiki/block) as the seller’s last viewing change, or if the encryption network is paused—ending the seller’s access may require one additional transaction. Anyone can send that transaction, and FungoLabs says its keeper sends it automatically.[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)

A buyer can view the NFT’s contents after 96 blocks, described by the project as about 19 minutes, by sending one transaction. FungoLabs says an [Ethereum](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ethereum) purchase becomes final after about 13 minutes. Art that was already published remains public after a sale. The project describes private-view transitions, publication, the randomness draw, and the cZAMA sale as operating through [Zama](https://iq.wiki/wiki/zama)’s FHEVM.[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)

## Roadmap & Ecosystem

FungoLabs’ announced roadmap places the Genesis collection first, followed by a launchpad for other collections to issue encrypted NFTs on [Ethereum](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ethereum) with holders in control, and then a game designed for Genesis NFTs and their traits. The project said it would provide dates and details for each stage as it progressed. It has described hidden-stat games as one possible use of encrypted computation, including resolving a duel without either player disclosing their stats.[\[1\]](#cite-id-dgay9516kw)

FungoLabs said Genesis NFT holders would receive a share of FungoLabs Launchpad revenue and a share of the token from each collection launched through the launchpad.[\[2\]](#cite-id-9q43hga01f)

## $FUNGO Campaign and Tokenomics

FungoLabs announced a $FUNGO campaign on X with a 300 million $FUNGO reward pool. Participants were to connect their X accounts and submit their five best Fungo-related posts. Posts published from November 1, 2026, at 14:00 UTC were eligible; the leaderboard was to be revealed when the campaign ended, with rewards distributed to participants’ wallets at the token generation event (TGE).[\[2\]](#cite-id-9q43hga01f)

A separate FungoLabs post described a total supply of 10 billion $FUNGO and discussed amounts and claim rules concerning Genesis NFT holders, [Zama](https://iq.wiki/wiki/zama) OG participants, and the X campaign.[\[2\]](#cite-id-9q43hga01f)
