### Early Life  
  
She was born in Palo Alto, California to Israeli parents. By the time she was in junior high, she and her family moved back to Israel. She later returned during her high school years.  
  
## Education  
  
After graduating high school, she attended Dartmouth University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Comparative literature with a concentration in Hebrew and Politics.  
  
## Career  
  
Galia was the CEO of Particle Code (acquired 2011) and one of its founders. Before Particle Code, Galia co-founded Mytopia, a leading social games business acquired by 888 (LSE: 888). At Mytopia, Galia ran business development and helped raise its first round of financing.  
  
She later became a venture partner for Founders Fund.  
  
She has since founded Bancor. The Bancor protocol Foundation was established in 2017 in order to promote the development and adoption of the Bancor protocol, a standard for the creation of intrinsically tradable tokens.
