Poole graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2004 with a degree in Software Engineering. He then received his MBA from the UCF College of Business in 2007. [\[1\]](#cite-id-gq6q99rw587)  
  
# Career  
  
Poole started his tech career as a principal software engineer at Symantec, where he worked for seven years. In 2010, he held the same position at RSA, The Security Division of EMC, until 2015 before becoming a software engineering manager for one year. [\[1\]](#cite-id-gq6q99rw587)  
  
In April 2015, Poole co-founded PopChest, a video-on-demand service powered by [Bitcoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bitcoin), and served as CTO for one year. Afterward, he founded eSixteen.co, a provider of services on top of the 21.co computing network.
