## Education

## Career

Bok began his career with the Singapore Armed Forces, serving as an Infantry Officer from 2002 to 2004 and as a Platoon Commander with the 3rd Singapore Infantry Regiment. He later worked as a Summer Analyst at GIC from July to September 2006, where he analyzed private equity fund performance and conducted financial modeling. From June 2008 to June 2010, he was an ETF / Delta One Trader at Goldman Sachs in London, working on ETF market making, trade execution, hedging, risk management, and liquidity management.

From December 2010 to January 2014, Bok worked as an independent proprietary trader, managing an algorithmic trading portfolio focused on foreign exchange and commodities. He subsequently became an angel investor in September 2014, investing in and advising early-stage [cryptocurrency](https://iq.wiki/wiki/cryptocurrency) and [blockchain](https://iq.wiki/wiki/blockchain) projects across areas including [Layer 1](https://iq.wiki/wiki/layer-1) networks, [DeFi](https://iq.wiki/wiki/defi), [NFTs](https://iq.wiki/wiki/non-fungible-token-nft), and the [metaverse](https://iq.wiki/wiki/metaverse).
