## Education

Blumberg attended the University of California, Berkeley, from 2012 to 2016, graduating from the Haas School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During his time at university, he was involved with Voyager Consulting, a student-run consultancy. ## Career

### Traditional Finance

Blumberg's professional career in finance started at BlackRock, one of the world's largest asset managers. He first joined as a summer intern in the Scientific Active Equity group from June to August 2015. Following his tenure at BlackRock, Blumberg moved to Marshall Wace, a global alternative investment manager, in July 2018. He worked there as a Quantamental Researcher until March 2022.
