**Osero** is a [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) yield infrastructure project focused on providing access to yield-bearing [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) products. Its products include Osero Earn, which provides integration infrastructure for platforms, and Osero App, a consumer application that routes [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) deposits into [sUSDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/susds-susds) and the Sky Savings Rate. Osero Earn is a [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) savings infrastructure product that allows fintechs, wallets, exchanges, neobanks, and custodians to offer yield on users' [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) balances without building their own [DeFi](https://iq.wiki/wiki/defi) infrastructure or managing the underlying assets. It packages the Sky Savings Rate into a developer-facing SDK that handles [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) conversion, approvals, routing through [Sky's](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney) Peg Stability Module, and deposits into the [sUSDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/susds-susds) vault across supported chains. Users can deposit supported [stablecoins](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin), receive [sUSDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/susds-susds), and redeem their positions without lock-ups or withdrawal queues, while Osero remains non-custodial and the underlying yield is generated through [Sky Protocol's](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney) diversified collateral and lending activities.

Osero also provides transparency and risk-management infrastructure for platforms integrating the product. Its Transparency SDK exposes information on the assets backing the yield, available liquidity, and junior and senior risk capital, while the Integration SDK provides a unified interface for minting and redeeming [sUSDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/susds-susds) across [Ethereum](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ethereum), [Base](https://iq.wiki/wiki/base), [Arbitrum One](https://iq.wiki/wiki/arbitrum-bridged-weth-arbitrum-one), OP Mainnet, and [Unichain](https://iq.wiki/wiki/unichain). The system also supports multi-[stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) deposits through Enso and provides transaction previews, typed execution plans, and chain-specific routing to simplify integration. The underlying [Sky](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney) structure uses liquid reserves and onchain money-market positions to support redemptions, while junior risk capital held by strategy participants and [Sky's](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney) backstop capital provide layers of loss absorption. ## Features

### Sky Savings Rate

![](https://ipfs.everipedia.org/ipfs/QmR2chD2SV9hchyPVFrGwk7L275VAdygZcVNr8eEwHuwHy)

The Sky Savings Rate (SSR) is the yield mechanism underlying Osero’s [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) savings products, with yield accruing automatically to sUSDS, [Sky Protocol’s](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney) yield-bearing savings token. The SSR is determined through [Sky](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney) governance and is generated from a diversified balance sheet that, as of August 21, 2026, included [USDC](https://iq.wiki/wiki/usdc) [stablecoins](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin), onchain and OTC [crypto](https://iq.wiki/wiki/cryptocurrency)-backed lending, short-duration Treasury bills, AAA corporate debt, and other assets. Osero routes supported [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) deposits into [USDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/usds) and then [sUSDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/susds-susds), after which the value represented by each sUSDS token increases as the SSR accrues; users therefore may receive fewer sUSDS tokens than the amount of [stablecoins](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) deposited because each token can represent more [USDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/usds) over time. [Sky’s](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney) risk framework uses layers of capital, including Junior Risk Capital supplied by ecosystem Agents and Senior Risk Capital provided by [Sky](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney), to absorb losses before they reach depositors. The SSR can change through governance, and [sUSDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/susds-susds) remains subject to risks associated with [USDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/usds) and [Sky Protocol](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney), including [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin), [smart-contract](https://iq.wiki/wiki/smart-contract), market, liquidity, wallet, network, and transaction-execution risks. ## Products

### Osero App

Osero App is a non-custodial [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) savings application that allows users to deposit supported [stablecoins](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) and receive [sUSDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/susds-susds), a yield-bearing savings token issued by [Sky](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney). The app consolidates the steps normally required to access [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) yield, including asset conversion and cross-chain transfers, so users can deposit from different assets and networks without managing the underlying [DeFi](https://iq.wiki/wiki/defi) infrastructure themselves. Users connect their wallet, select the [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) and network they want to use, review the proposed route, expected output, and fees, and approve the required wallet transactions before the deposit is completed. Osero uses Enso and [LI.FI](https://iq.wiki/wiki/lifi) to handle swaps and cross-chain transfers when required, selecting a route based on the asset, network, and available liquidity. The resulting [sUSDS](https://iq.wiki/wiki/susds-susds) accrues the Sky Savings Rate over time, and withdrawals follow the same routing process in reverse. The application remains non-custodial, with users retaining control of their funds and approving the transactions required to deposit or withdraw. ## Funding

Osero announced its $13.5 million funding round in May 2026, with the round led by the [Sky](https://iq.wiki/wiki/skymoney) Ecosystem through its genesis capital allocation and co-led by [Plasma](https://iq.wiki/wiki/plasma-finance). Additional participation came from angel investors associated with [Spark](https://iq.wiki/wiki/spark), [USDT0](https://iq.wiki/wiki/usdt0), [Maple Finance](https://iq.wiki/wiki/maple-finance), Accountable, [RedStone](https://iq.wiki/wiki/redstone-oracles), [RollupTV](https://iq.wiki/wiki/the-rollup), [Four Pillars](https://iq.wiki/wiki/four-pillars), and Kairos Research. The funding accompanied Osero’s launch following a year of incubation by Stablewatch and was intended to support its [stablecoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) yield infrastructure, including products that provide access to the Sky Savings Rate through platforms such as wallets, exchanges, and neobanks. Osero operates as a legally separate foundation from Stablewatch, with Stablewatch serving as a contributor and Soter Labs supporting its incubation, governance, and operations.
