## Education

Paul Faecks pursued undergraduate studies at Technical University of Munich, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology and Management between 2018 and 2022. ## Career

### **Early Career**

Paul Faecks began his career in business development and crypto-related roles. Between 2017 and 2018, he worked at code & co. in Berlin. He later held a role in crypto and business development at sync. in London from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, he worked as a Project Student in DevOps at Earlybird Venture Capital.

### **Deribit Insights**

From July 2020 to October 2021, Faecks contributed as a researcher and analyst at [Deribit](https://iq.wiki/wiki/deribit) Insights, the research division of the exchange. During this period, he focused on analysis related to [cryptocurrency](https://iq.wiki/wiki/cryptocurrency) markets, particularly derivatives and trading infrastructure.

### **Alloy**

In 2021, Faecks co-founded Alloy, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer. The platform was developed to provide infrastructure and services for institutional digital asset operations, and he led the company from its inception.
