Sinan Koç pursued his undergraduate studies at The Koc School for 4 years. Subsequently, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurial Studies and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School in 2017.

# Career  
  
Together with [Murat Firat](https://iq.wiki/wiki/murat-firat), Sinan Koç co-founded [BiLira](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bilira) in April 2019. The [BiLira organization](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bilira), operating as a joint-stock company under Turkish law, aims to broaden the access of Turkish citizens to the [decentralized](https://iq.wiki/wiki/defi) and [peer-to-peer (P2P)](https://iq.wiki/wiki/peer-to-peer-trading-p2p) global financial network using its [fiat](https://iq.wiki/wiki/fiat-money)-backed price-[stable](https://iq.wiki/wiki/stablecoin) cryptographic token, [TRYB](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bilira-tryb). Prior to this, he was the Head of Sourcing at ConsenSys Token Foundry from 2017 to 2019, marking his full immersion into the cryptocurrency realm.  
  
In 2016, he co-founded Geld, a [peer-to-peer payment](https://iq.wiki/wiki/peer-to-peer-trading-p2p) application, and subsequently licensed it to Akbank in 2018.  
  
In the same year, Sinan also co-founded Radius, a location-based messaging platform. Additionally, he gained internship experience at Deutsche Bank, again focusing on Capital Markets & Treasury Solutions, in 2014, and a similar internship at Global Investment Holdings in 2011.
