**Tria** is a self-custodial [crypto](https://iq.wiki/wiki/cryptocurrency) finance application and [blockchain](https://iq.wiki/wiki/blockchain) infrastructure platform. Its consumer app combines card payments, asset swaps, perpetual-futures trading and yield products, while its BestPath system routes transactions across supported blockchain networks and execution venues. Tria also provides developer tools for embedding wallet and chain-abstraction functions in third-party applications. ## Overview

Tria presents its consumer product as a self-custodial account for spending, trading, earning and moving [crypto](https://iq.wiki/wiki/cryptocurrency) across networks. Users retain control of their wallets while the application abstracts parts of the transaction process, including route selection and [gas](https://iq.wiki/wiki/gas) handling. The project's website states that its card supports funding with more than 1,000 digital assets and use in over 150 countries. [\[1\]](#cite-id-8799014e-7884-400f-b7e4-5cff16515930)

BestPath is the routing and execution layer underlying the consumer application. Tria describes it as a system that selects routes for swaps, trades and settlements across blockchain networks and other execution venues. [\[1\]](#cite-id-8799014e-7884-400f-b7e4-5cff16515930) [\[3\]](#cite-id-7bc45e91-6d6b-426e-8ab3-8fd0817398d1)

## History

Tria was founded by [Vijit Katta](https://iq.wiki/wiki/vijit-katta) and [Parth Bhalla](https://iq.wiki/wiki/parth-bhalla). [\[7\]](#cite-id-d27f3a35-1563-4dae-837e-0f36974b4780)

In December 2025, Tria announced that users could fund its payment card directly from self-custodied [Bitcoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bitcoin) wallets. Bybit announced a TRIA spot listing in February 2026. [\[9\]](#cite-id-180d59c9-7962-4da2-a799-97d1955cd366) [\[10\]](#cite-id-c349fff9-4e1e-47f0-899f-f3cdf4ffe80b)

In April 2026, Tria integrated Decibel, an [Aptos](https://iq.wiki/wiki/aptos)-based onchain perpetuals exchange, into its application. In the integration announcement, Tria reported more than 500,000 users across over 150 countries. [\[2\]](#cite-id-f3364c83-087b-4cf6-b0c7-444f78a1014e)

## Funding

In October 2025, AlleyWatch reported that Tria raised $12 million in a pre-seed round led by P2 Ventures. Tria described the financing as a combination of pre-seed and strategic funding and said participants included [Aptos](https://iq.wiki/wiki/aptos) and individuals affiliated with [Polygon](https://iq.wiki/wiki/polygon), the [Ethereum Foundation](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ethereum-foundation-ef), [Wintermute](https://iq.wiki/wiki/wintermute), [Sentient](https://iq.wiki/wiki/sentient), 0G, Concrete and [Eigen](https://iq.wiki/wiki/eigenlayer). The detailed participant list was published in a company-supplied press release. [\[7\]](#cite-id-d27f3a35-1563-4dae-837e-0f36974b4780) [\[8\]](#cite-id-1cba6882-3d1b-44a1-884b-3ac30b761e0f)

## Technology

### BestPath and Unchained

Tria describes BestPath as proprietary routing and execution technology for determining how a requested transaction should be completed. The project's documentation presents BestPath as a permissionless chain-abstraction and intents marketplace operating in shared state with Unchained, an AVS Layer 2 built using [Arbitrum](https://iq.wiki/wiki/arbitrum) Orbit and MoveVM.

Instead of requiring users to select bridges, gas tokens and transaction routes manually, the system is designed to process a requested action and determine an execution path across the available networks and venues. ### CoreSDK

Tria's CoreSDK comprises the Inception SDK and Mazerunner SDK. According to the documentation, it allows developers to add seedless or social-login onboarding, shared wallets, gas abstraction and multi-chain access to applications. The documented integrations include JavaScript, React, Next.js, Flutter, Unity and Unreal Engine. [\[4\]](#cite-id-ccab00eb-26b5-402b-9fba-5c22d19f9e55)

## Products

### Tria App and Card

The Tria application provides a self-custodial interface for card spending, asset swaps, perpetual-futures trading and yield products. Tria offers Visa payment cards in Virtual, Signature and Premium tiers. The company states that its cards can be funded with more than 1,000 digital assets, used in over 150 countries and connected to Apple Pay and Google Pay. Advertised cashback rates vary by card tier and reach up to 6%. [\[1\]](#cite-id-8799014e-7884-400f-b7e4-5cff16515930)

Tria also supports payment-card top-ups from self-custodied [Bitcoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bitcoin) wallets. According to the company's December 2025 announcement, the specified amount of [Bitcoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bitcoin) is transferred through a non-custodial smart-contract process rather than deposited into an exchange or platform-controlled [Bitcoin](https://iq.wiki/wiki/bitcoin) account. [\[9\]](#cite-id-180d59c9-7962-4da2-a799-97d1955cd366)

### Earn

Tria's Earn feature routes supported assets into onchain yield strategies while keeping the resulting balance accessible within the application. Tria states that available returns depend on the asset, strategy and market conditions and may reach approximately 15% APY. [\[1\]](#cite-id-8799014e-7884-400f-b7e4-5cff16515930) [\[5\]](#cite-id-7b34b97a-4352-4faa-bfb1-c96c7a16993a)

### Trading

The application includes cross-chain swaps and perpetual-futures trading. Tria's current website advertises crypto and equity perpetuals with leverage of up to 50×. In April 2026, Tria added access to Decibel's Aptos-based onchain perpetuals market through a separate trading account within the application. [\[1\]](#cite-id-8799014e-7884-400f-b7e4-5cff16515930) [\[2\]](#cite-id-f3364c83-087b-4cf6-b0c7-444f78a1014e)

### Fiat On- and Off-ramp

Tria has announced an on- and off-ramp intended to support buying and selling crypto in more than 100 countries. The current website identifies this product as “coming soon,” so it should be described as planned rather than available. [\[1\]](#cite-id-8799014e-7884-400f-b7e4-5cff16515930)

## TRIA Token

TRIA is the utility and governance token associated with Tria and BestPath. Tria's official tokenomics identifies it as an [ERC-20 token](https://iq.wiki/wiki/erc-20) on [Ethereum](https://iq.wiki/wiki/ethereum) [mainnet](https://iq.wiki/wiki/mainnet) with a fixed maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. It states that all tokens were pre-minted at the token-generation event and that the genesis circulating supply was 2,157,756,000 TRIA, or approximately 21.58% of the total supply. [\[6\]](#cite-id-39444d33-e07f-4634-8319-62d80a3ca87d)

[CoinMarketCap](https://iq.wiki/wiki/coinmarketcap) and [CoinGecko](https://iq.wiki/wiki/coingecko) also report a maximum supply of 10 billion TRIA and a circulating supply of approximately 2.15 billion tokens. [\[11\]](#cite-id-8c39285e-7525-4093-9d3d-d635a586763a) [\[12\]](#cite-id-317b1478-6261-4193-a65e-106f4c6a6381)

### Utility

Tria describes the token's current functions as:

* Settlement within BestPath.
* [Staking](https://iq.wiki/wiki/staking) by PathFinders for routing and verification access.
* [Gas](https://iq.wiki/wiki/gas) and fee subsidies.
* Token-weighted governance.
* Tiered membership benefits and fee reductions.

The tokenomics publication also identifies lending and borrowing integrations, remittance settlement, expanded governance and additional incentive programs as possible future extensions. These should be presented as roadmap items rather than completed utilities. [\[6\]](#cite-id-39444d33-e07f-4634-8319-62d80a3ca87d)
