In 2013, he worked as an engineering intern at PTE Hydraulics before serving as a Microsoft Brand Ambassador and later as a Business Development Manager at Autotask Corporation, where he focused on software-as-a-service solutions and channel sales. Between 2013 and 2015, he also co-hosted *Know Idea!*, a science and technology radio program on Brisbane community station 4ZZZ, covering developments in engineering, computing, and scientific research.

In 2015, Javaid joined Panasonic Avionics Corporation as a Field Engineer supporting in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems for airline customers in the Asia-Pacific region. Over the following seven years, he held a series of increasingly senior positions, including Field Engineer I and II, Senior Field Engineer, Regional Manager of Engineering for the Americas, and Senior Technical Account Manager for Satellite Connectivity. His responsibilities included deploying and maintaining aircraft connectivity systems, managing engineering teams, overseeing large-scale fleet technology programs, and supporting commercial relationships with major airlines. ## Panels

### Digital Asset Infrastructure

At TokenizeThis 2025 in June, Javaid participated in a panel discussion alongside Andre Czupek of Northern Trust and Ric Golubov of Franklin Templeton, moderated by [Eleanor Terrett](https://iq.wiki/wiki/eleanor-terrett) of Crypto In America, focused on the development of [digital asset](https://iq.wiki/wiki/digital-assets) infrastructure for financial institutions. The discussion centered on how major financial institutions have been building and deploying scalable [blockchain](https://iq.wiki/wiki/blockchain)-based systems to support the tokenization of assets such as private equity, carbon credits, and other alternative investments. The panelists described efforts to reduce operational complexity by developing platforms that abstract [blockchain](https://iq.wiki/wiki/blockchain) mechanics while integrating compliance, reconciliation, and asset lifecycle management, enabling clients to interact with tokenized assets through familiar, brokerage-style interfaces.

The conversation also addressed growing institutional demand for tokenized products, driven by efficiency improvements, expanded access to traditionally illiquid asset classes, and increasing regulatory clarity across jurisdictions. Key challenges discussed included interoperability between [blockchain](https://iq.wiki/wiki/blockchain) networks and legacy financial systems, data consistency across distributed infrastructure, and the lack of unified standards for digital identity and compliance frameworks. The panel concluded with a forward-looking view that tokenization would continue to expand across asset classes, supported by improved cross-chain liquidity, greater standardization, and further convergence between traditional financial infrastructure and [blockchain](https://iq.wiki/wiki/blockchain)-based systems.
