BitFuFu was founded by Leo Lu, a former Business Director at BITMAIN, to provide Bitcoin mining infrastructure and services.

BitFuFu formed a strategic partnership with BITMAIN and began a joint operation with ANTPOOL, receiving a strategic investment from BITMAIN later in July 2021.

BitFuFu successfully completed its public listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange under the ticker symbol FUFU.

The company launched its proprietary, optimized firmware for cryptocurrency miners, BitFuFuOS, claiming to increase hashrate by approximately 12%.
