Hopeum was founded with the mission to develop a DeFi super app for Sub-Saharan Africa, combining GameFi with real-world asset tokenization.

Hopeum raised $60,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Ascendia to support initial development.

The project announced plans for its Token Generation Event (TGE) for the HPM token, scheduled for Q1 2026.
