Tolu Andre Olatunbosun is the co-founder of Limitus, an AI startup focused on privacy-first, locally executed automation agents. His work involves developing intelligent systems that integrate Web2 and Web3 functionalities with an emphasis on data privacy.

Education

Olatunbosun holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he founded the official Data Science and Engineering Club. His coursework included neural networks, time series analysis, cyber analytics, database design, and software engineering for data scientists.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from SUNY Geneseo with a concentration in data science. He also participated in the State University of New York College of Optometry program in 2015, attending graduate-level lectures on color vision, pediatric care, and eye physiology. ^[3]

Tolu Andre Olatunbosun has held roles in data science and artificial intelligence research across academic, governmental, and private sectors. His professional activities have encompassed machine learning, operations involving large language models, Web3, data engineering, and cybersecurity within environments subject to regulatory compliance.

His early career included positions as a data analyst and research assistant during his studies at SUNY Geneseo. Subsequently, he contributed to research on biomarkers related to Alzheimer’s disease and applied deep learning methods to emotion recognition projects at the University of Rochester. He has performed data-driven functions at various organizations, including Equinox Technology Partners, The Nightingale-Bamford School, and NYU Langone Health, where he developed data visualization tools and automated reporting systems.

Between 2019 and 2021, Olatunbosun worked as a Data Science Analyst at the New York State Senate, applying demographic data modeling and geographic analysis to support political micro-targeting efforts. He later joined Bayer Crop Science as a Data Scientist, focusing on demand forecasting and the creation of visual analytics for agricultural supply chains in North America.

In 2022, his research at the ESL Global Cybersecurity Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology involved statistical analysis of denial-of-service (DoS) attack data to inform intrusion detection system improvements. He also served as a data analyst at NMI, where he monitored client earnings data and addressed software-related client issues.

Olatunbosun joined Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in 2023 via the Post-Master’s Program. His work at LANL included designing convolutional neural networks for image classification of nuclear waste, performing statistical data analyses, and producing visualizations for transuranic waste datasets. Since 2024, he has held the position of Staff Data Scientist and AI Operations Developer, where his responsibilities include managing vector databases, developing machine learning workflows, and supporting secure deployment of large language models in high-performance computing contexts. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

Limitus

Alongside his role at LANL, Olatunbosun co-founded Limitus, a company developing AI agents that execute privacy-focused automation locally on user devices. The system supports voice-controlled integration of Web2 and Web3 workflows while processing data without relying on centralized servers.
