Christian Pusateri is an entrepreneur and the Co-founder and CEO of Mind Network, a Web3 infrastructure company focused on data security and privacy through the application of Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). [1]
Christian Pusateri earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland. Pusateri's formal entry into the Web3 space was solidified through his participation in a blockchain course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During this program, he was mentored by Christian Catalini, who encouraged him to develop practical, real-world solutions using decentralized technologies. [1] [6]
Before entering the Web3 sector, Pusateri worked extensively in the medical technology industry. His roles included sales and training positions in which he introduced advanced medical devices and assisted in teaching surgical procedures. He also gained experience with emerging technologies such as AI-assisted surgery and 3D printing for surgical planning. This work exposed him to the challenges of handling sensitive medical data subject to regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR, which influenced his later interest in privacy-focused digital solutions.
From 2010 to 2021, Pusateri held roles at several healthcare and technology companies, including Danaher Corporation, Henry Schein, Acteon Group, TrueJaw 3D Printed Surgical Replicas, and ClaroNav. In these positions, he was involved in medical device sales, surgical navigation technologies, and 3D-printed surgical modeling. He later worked at BurstIQ in 2021, focusing on blockchain-enabled healthcare data networks, followed by a business development role at IoTeX from 2022 to 2023.
In June 2023, Pusateri co-founded Mind Labs, where he became Chief Executive Officer of Mind Network, a company developing infrastructure for a "Fully Encrypted Web" using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). Under his leadership, Mind Network launched a public mainnet and secured funding rounds, including $2.5 million in seed financing in 2023 and $10 million in Pre-A funding in 2024, with backing from investors such as Binance Labs, Hashkey Capital, Animoca Brands, and Chainlink. The project also received two grants from the Ethereum Foundation and participated in Binance’s incubation program. [1] [2] [6]
In February 2025, Pusateri appeared on the alpha un# podcast to discuss Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). In the episode, he outlined its potential applications in artificial intelligence, data security, and encrypted data sharing.
