Kenso Trabing is the founder of Morphware, a decentralized computing platform that uses blockchain technology to allocate computational resources for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) applications. His work focuses on distributed systems, AI infrastructure, and sustainable computing solutions. [4]
Trabing studied Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, earning a Bachelor of Science degree (2007–2011). He later completed a Master of Science in Computer Science at Stanford University (2011–2013), where his research involved parallel computing and neural network optimization. [4] [5] [6]
Trabing began his career as a Software Engineering intern at Google (2012–2013), working on large-scale data processing systems. During the same period, he was a Research Assistant at Stanford, focusing on distributed computing for real-time analytics, which served as a basis for later working with blockchain technology.
In 2013, he joined D.E. Shaw & Co. as a Developer, working on algorithmic trading models that incorporated machine learning. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at NVIDIA, developing GPU-accelerated frameworks for deep learning workloads.
In 2017, Trabing transitioned into blockchain technology as Head of AI at Chainlink Labs, where he contributed to integrating machine learning with decentralized oracle networks.
In 2020, he founded Morphware, a decentralized computing platform designed to connect underutilized GPU resources, particularly those powered by renewable energy, with developers working on AI and ML projects. The company operates in Paraguay, where it utilizes hydroelectric power for computing operations.
Since 2020, Trabing has also been a Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab, studying decentralized governance in AI systems. He has spoken at industry events, including the Princeton Quant Conference, on topics related to AI ethics and energy-efficient blockchain applications.
Trabing has discussed the role of renewable energy in blockchain and AI infrastructure, including in regions such as the East of England. His work with Morphware explores ways to align decentralized computing with sustainable energy practices. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
