Timothy Stebbing is an Australian software architect and engineer who serves as the Product Lead for the Dogecoin Foundation. He is known for his work in the Free and Open-Source Software (F/OSS) community and for authoring key strategic documents for the Dogecoin project, including the Dogecoin Manifesto and the Dogecoin Trailmap. Timothy Stebbing is a software engineer and product lead with over two decades of experience in technology, spanning blockchain, media, healthcare, and enterprise systems. Since 2021, he has served as Product Lead at the Dogecoin Foundation. Prior to this role, he was Technical Lead at Ynomia (2019–2021), where he developed systems for managing telemetry data and digital twin applications in the construction sector.
From 2015 to 2019, Stebbing worked as a Senior Software Engineer at iflix, contributing to the company’s identity and microservice architecture and supporting its global account growth. He previously held the position of Technical Lead at etaskr (2014–2015) and Software Engineering Lead/CTO at SWS Melbourne (2011–2014), where he oversaw content delivery platforms for global clients.
Earlier in his career, he co-founded PangurPad (2011–2013), held technical and leadership roles at Medibank, Fitness2Live, and Nunatak Systems, and contributed as an engineer at Revver Inc. and Cybersource Pty Ltd.[1] [2] [5]
As Product Lead, Stebbing's primary responsibility is to analyze the challenges and opportunities facing Dogecoin and to propose strategies for enhancing its developer ecosystem. He also focuses on communicating complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. [1]
