Education

Chris Eberle attended Syracuse University between 1992 to 1997 where he studied for a BS. in Television, Radio & Film Production. In 2005 he attended the Havard Business School for a PMD in Business Administration.^[3]

Career

Chris started his career in 1999 as a VP of Sales Development & Publisher Operations at AOL until 2010. Afterward, he moved to the role of VP & Head of Revenue Operations at meebo which was acquired by Google. In 2012, he served as the VP of Global Accounts at AppNexus and then as SVP & General Manager, Content Marketing at Federated Media.

From 2014 to 2017, Chris worked at Facebook in Global Leadership Roles in Partnerships, Operations, and Marketing where his team engaged directly with creators ranging from rising stars to influential media partners and celebrities, activating them on the company's products and advocating for them internally.

In 2017, he moved to SWARM as a Chief Operating & Marketing Officer, and in 2019, he worked at Netflix as a Director in Content & Marketing Globalization. Chris founded Defiant LLC in 2019 and served as the Managing Partner. Here, he makes angel investments and helps startups and their founders grow and thrive.
