The Ethereum Foundation announced the formation of the dAI team, led by core developer Davide Crapis, to integrate AI with the Ethereum blockchain and establish it as the base layer for the machine economy.

The team plans to present the ERC-8004 standard, designed for AI agent identity and on-chain transactions, at the Devconnect conference in Buenos Aires.
