Started his career at Shinhan Bank, where he worked for 18 years in various departments including credit planning and risk management.

Joined Hanwha Life Insurance, eventually becoming Head of FinTech and leading initiatives in blockchain and new business development.

Completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Islamic Finance from Myongji University.

Appointed as the first Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of JB Financial Group to lead the company's digital transformation and data-driven strategies.
