Jonathan Levin co-founded Chainalysis, a blockchain forensics company that provides data and analysis to government agencies, exchanges, and financial institutions.

As a postgraduate economist at the University of Oxford, Levin began conducting research on digital assets and the Bitcoin network.

Levin was appointed CEO by the Board of Directors, succeeding co-founder Michael Gronager. He officially assumed the role on December 3, 2024.
