At NFT NYC 2024, speakers like Shibtoshi from SquidGrow, Springna Zhao of NFTY30, Matt Medved from Now Media, SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, Aissa, a visual artist and researcher, and John Vibes, an author and artist, shared their perspectives on NFTs. They covered platform insights, content curation, digital trends, regulatory viewpoints, art and technology convergence, and cultural implications, offering attendees diverse insights into the NFT industry. NFT NYC 2023 was held from April 12 to 14. The event featured a diverse lineup of speakers, including SenditLDN, Co-founder of NYLON; Lou Kerner, Founder of CryptoOracle Collective; and Amanda Cassatt, Founder & CEO of Serotonin. Other notable speakers included Sebastiano Bea, Director of Product at Mythical Games; Nico Fara, Founder & Leader of The Fashion DAO; and Miko Matsumura, Managing Partner at Gumi Cryptos Capital. From June 21-23, 2022, "The Diversity of NFTs" event was held at venues including Radio City Music Hall, Marriott Marquis, Palladium Times Square, and Edison Ballroom. Coinbase premiered the "Degen Trilogy" movie at Radio City. Sponsors Polygon and MoonPay focused on sustainability and NFT scaling. Celebrity appearances included Logan Paul, Kimbal Musk, Spike Lee, and Madonna at a satellite event. Over 50 brands like Coach and Ticketmaster announced NFT projects. The NFT Art Showcase featured 200+ artists on Times Square billboards and at Marriott Marquis. The event had 16k+ attendees, 1.4k speakers, 307 sponsors, 16 tracks, and 450+ satellite events. [5]
On November 3-4, 2021, "The World has Woken Up to NFTs" was held at venues including Palladium Times Square, Edison Ballroom, The Town Hall, and Margaritaville Resort Times Square. Coinbase called NFT.NYC "The Super Bowl of NFTs". NFT Speaker Cards were introduced for speakers, providing verifiable credentials. Celebrity announcements included Busta Rhymes, Gary Vee, Alexis Ohanian, and Quentin Tarantino. Times Square billboards featured speakers, sponsors, and artists. The event had 5.6k+ attendees, 579 speakers, 125 sponsors, six tracks, and 67 satellite events. [6]
On February 20, 2020, "Real-World NFT Use Cases" took place at the Edison Ballroom for NFT.NYC's second year in Times Square. The event introduced NFT Speaker Profiles by NFT.Kred and used NFT ticketing with Mintbase. The conference had 514 attendees, 110 speakers, 34 sponsors, one main track, and 12 satellite events. [7]
On February 20, the NFT NYC 2019 edition took place at the PlayStation Theater, marking the first major gathering of the NFT community. The event introduced the inaugural NFT Swag Bag, featuring NFT giveaways powered by NFT.Kred. Additionally, it piloted NFT tickets in collaboration with OpenSea. Speakers and sponsors were featured on a Times Square billboard. With 462 attendees, the event boasted 85 speakers, 18 sponsors, one main track, and two satellite events. [8]
