As Head of USDC at Circle from 2018 to 2019, he was responsible for overseeing the launch and initial expansion of the USD Coin stablecoin.

From 2020 to 2023, he managed global product strategy, liquidity, derivatives, and international exchange offerings at Coinbase.

In 2023, Gupta founded True Markets to develop TrueX, a non-custodial, stablecoin-native cryptocurrency exchange designed to bridge CeFi and DeFi.
