Co-founded Xfers, a payment processing gateway for Southeast Asia, to solve payment reconciliation issues for developers and SMEs.

Participated in the National University of Singapore (NUS) Overseas College program, which involved studying at Stanford University and working at startups in the Bay Area.

Left his role as a software engineer at Amazon to join the Y Combinator accelerator program with his company, Xfers, in 2015.

Pivoted the company to launch StraitsX and issued XSGD, the world's first Singapore Dollar-backed stablecoin, to meet demand from Web3 clients for on-chain payments.

StraitsX was granted an in-principle license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) under its framework for issuing well-regulated stablecoins.
