Products

Zypto App

The Zypto App, designed for Android and iOS, launched in May 2024. The app aims to simplify the use of cryptocurrencies, making them as accessible as local currencies, and supports transfers between traditional financial systems and blockchains.

Key features include DeFi and CeFi wallets, Zypto Pay closed-loop payments, P2P transfers, and various payment options such as prepaid cards and gift cards. Planned additions for 2024 include Zypto Pay merchant functions and a ZYP Rewards System.^[1][5][6]

Zypto Wallets

Zypto offers two types of wallets: a managed wallet (CeFi) and a decentralised wallet (DeFi). The managed wallet, called Zypto Wallet, aims to facilitate instant transfers without gas fees while keeping the balance private. It allows transactions via email, SMS, or social media and supports merchant payments.

The DeFi wallet provides users with full control over their funds through private keys, though transactions are visible on the blockchain. It is necessary for participating in the DeFi economy and can be accessed through the app’s dApp browser.

Zypto's closed-loop transfer system aims to enable instant peer-to-peer payments using contact details, bypassing gas fees and enhancing privacy compared to traditional blockchain transactions.^[1][6]

Local Currency Options

Zypto provides methods for converting cryptocurrency to local currency or facilitating local currency payments. The app aims to allow users to transfer crypto to a bank account, use physical or virtual prepaid cards, purchase gift cards, and pay bills in cryptocurrency.
