Rootverse is a pioneering Web3 initiative utilizing advanced AI tools for world-building, with the largest collection of synthetic data assets on Bitcoin, based on the BRC1024 protocol. [1][2]
Rootverse, announced on April 2, 2024, on X (formerly Twitter), is a Web3 initiative utilizing advanced AI tools for world-building and housing the largest collection of synthetic data assets (211,000) on Bitcoin through the BRC1024 protocol. Rootverse aims to extend beyond traditional PFP projects by generating text on Bitcoin to create diverse digital assets, including unique PFP NFTs for social media avatars. Notably, it represents the inaugural worldview building IP featured on MagicEden. On June 27th, 2024, RootVerse announced the creation of the Rootverse Map, uploaded on Github, to be modified by co-builders.
The decentralized ROOT Collection of BRC1024, collectively owned by the community, endeavors to realize the vision of the Rootverse metaverse. The ROOT OG Collection, a text-based NFT with an AI-generated off-chain avatar, intends to inspire early participants in BRC1024 and ROOT. In order to support initial growth, ROOT OG will be distributed to early builders, imbuing it with distinct value.[1][2][3]
At the inception of existence, the Creator emerged, later revered as Root by subsequent generations, thus earning the universe its moniker, the Root Universe. This vast cosmos comprises a multitude of species and flourishing civilizations, embodying the origin of all life.[4]
Rootverse hosts a variety of races, each with unique attributes and pursuits. Warriors emphasize physical strength and combat skills, Cultivators seek spiritual harmony through meditation, Mages master magic and elemental forces, and Techies innovate in technology to enhance quality of life.[5]
In Rootverse, diverse races inhabit unique habitats with specialized abilities. The Winged reside in sky cities, mastering aerial combat. Nightshade excels in stealth and darkness. Pyronians harness fiery energy, while frostborns manipulate ice. Abyssians thrive in ocean depths, Soulbinders focus on soul cultivation, and Dragonbloods revere dragons. Star Travelers navigate cosmic forces, Forestians commune with nature, and Thunder beings control lightning and storms.[6]
In Rootverse, Malegods and Goddesses possess divine powers, overseeing realms like the sky, ocean, and death. Their roles vary, serving as guardians and judges of humans. Divine Warriors, chosen by deities, act as their agents on Earth, maintaining balance and protecting against threats to both realms.[7]
Initially divine messengers or ascetics, Succubi and Asura were banished to the abyss for transgressions. In the demonic realms, Succubi mastered dark forces and forbidden magic, while Asura focused on cultivating powers of violence and slaughter.[8]
In Rootverse, Zombies are resurrected creatures sustained by dark magic or curses, some retaining fragments of consciousness. Skeletons, composed solely of bones through dark rituals, lack self-awareness and serve their creators obediently.[9]
Within Rootverse, on-chain storage of metaverse data assets introduces new possibilities. Text can be processed by AI to create 2D profile pictures (PFPs), smartphone wallpapers, or characters in stories. These assets may also integrate into expansive 3D gaming environments, providing distinct avatar choices.
Initially focusing on improving 2D PFPs and wallpapers offline, Root uses AI tools like Prompt Assistant and Roooooot Robot, with ongoing developments in progress.[10]
