Tone Vays is a Bitcoin analyst, derivatives trader, and event producer. Best known as a trader, prior to discovering Bitcoin, Tone had a decade-long career on Wall Street. Tone's expertise has been recognized in various documentaries, such as Magic Money & Bitcoin - Beyond the Bubble, as well as in multiple media appearances on platforms such as CNBC and RT. He is a content creator at ToneVays.com and is in charge of three high-profile events: Unconfiscatable, Understanding Bitcoin, and The Financial Summit, which are aimed at traders and hedge funds. Early Life & Education

Vays has a Master of Science (MS) in Financial Engineering from Florida State University, which he earned between 2003 and 2005, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Geology from SUNY New Paltz, which he earned from 1997 to 2002. ^[2]

Career

Tone Vays started his career as a Financial Systems Analyst first at Bear Stearns Asset Management in 2007 and then at J.P. Morgan. In 2012, he worked at Axioma Inc. as a Senior Financial Analyst. From 2014 to 2015 he worked as a Research Analyst and Writer at Coin Telegraph, and afterwards, at Brave New Coin, he held the position of Head of Research, where he assisted the Developer team in creating financial products, composed a weekly market analysis report that identified trends in the Bitcoin price based on both technical and fundamental factors, and attended numerous global conferences and delivered public speeches. ^[2]

In 2014 he started working on his own company, ToneVays.com, where he educates people on differentiating between legitimate projects in the blockchain industry and those that are scams. Through his videos on Youtube, he shares his market analysis and insights on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Tone's expertise in the field has led to him being consulted by numerous cryptocurrency companies, as well as by those who are seeking to learn more about the technology and how it can help their businesses. ^[2]
