Yuri Papadin earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Finance from San Francisco State University in 2003. He later completed an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in 2010. Career

Papadin began his career as a day trader at Pristine Capital Management between 1998 and 2000 before working as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley from 2001 to 2002. His early exposure to financial markets and trading strategies provided a foundation that later contributed to his understanding of blockchain-based financial systems. He transitioned into corporate development and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joining CDK Global from 2004 to 2010 as a Corporate Development & M&A Manager, where he led acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures in the automotive sector. From 2011 to 2013, he worked at Polycom, overseeing corporate development in the audio, video, and communications sectors, including acquisitions and divestitures. He then moved to Imperva from 2014 to 2015 as Corporate Development & M&A Director, where he managed strategic acquisitions and business development in the cybersecurity sector.

Between 2015 and 2021, Papadin served as an Executive-in-Residence (EIR) and angel investor at Plug and Play Tech Center, evaluating startups in multiple sectors, providing advisory services, and leading an industry-focused meetup group. In 2017, he joined Vimana AG as Chief Operating & Business Development Officer, contributing to urban air mobility projects and securing funding for autonomous aerial vehicles. In 2019, he worked at Social Discovery Ventures as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, leading acquisitions in the consumer technology sector, followed by a role at DriveOn from 2019 to 2020, where he served as Vice President of Business Integration in the fintech and automotive sectors.

In 2022, Papadin joined Semiotic Labs as Chief Operating Officer, working on cryptographic engineering, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology to support decentralized infrastructure. Semiotic Labs was a core developer for The Graph Foundation, engaging in projects such as zero-knowledge proofs and deep reinforcement learning. Since 2022, he has also been the co-founder and COO of Odos, focusing on the development of order routing solutions for decentralized exchanges, optimizing trading efficiency across blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Optimism.
