Anthony Sassano is an independent Ethereum educator, angel investor, advisor, and Founder of The Daily Gwei, an Ethereum media resource platform hosted on YouTube. ^[1][2]

Education

Anthony Sassano attended Melbourne Polytechnic for a Diploma in Software Development from 2012 to 2013. Afterward, he attended La Trobe University for a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Programming in 2014. ^[3]

Career

Anthony served as a freelance website developer building responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from 2015 to 2016. In February 2018 he founded Block by Block, a research and resource hub for cryptocurrencies and blockchains. ^[3]

From March 2018 to July 2019, he served as a Cyber Threat Detection Expert for Telstra, a telecommunications company. He was a Product Marketing Manager at Set Labs from July 2019 to January 2021. He also founded EthHub in 2019, a fundamentals-focused, open-source, community-driven Ethereum research and resources hub that aims to solve the issue of information asymmetry in the Ethereum ecosystem. ^[3]

He co-hosts a podcast called 'Into the Ether Podcast'^[7] alongside Eric Conner. Into the Ether is a podcast focusing on all things Ethereum and DeFi. The podcast features in-depth discussions with prominent guests in the space. ^[6][7]

The Daily Gwei

In 2020, Anthony founded The Daily Gwei, a media resource on YouTube and Substack that keeps users updated with everything happening on Ethereum. The Daily Gwei serves as a go-to resource for in-depth insights into Ethereum and decentralized finance (DeFi), offering readers valuable research and perspectives. ^[5]

The Daily Gwei's YouTube channel has a subscriber count of 24K+ and 800+ videos as of May 2024. ^[4]

Under the Refuel section of his channel, The Daily Gwei regularly releases videos to fill users in on updates and news about Ethereum and the cryptocurrency ecosystem at large.

Early in the year 2024, Anthony Sassano offered a bullish narrative for the Ethereum ecosystem. Based on this, he expects Ethereum will reach a new all-time high (ATH) in 2024. According to Sassano, ETH might reach $10,000 if the Ethereum Spot ETF excitement gets "ahead of itself." ^[8]

Even if the $10,000 price barrier is not reached, Sassano believes that Ethereum's price might reach $6,000 by the end of the year. According to him, institutions will be very interested in Ethereum because of the yield it provides. ^[8]
