Ilan Hazan is the CPO and co-founder of Decrypt Media, an independent news outlet focused on technology advancements, DeFi, and blockchain. ^[1]

Education

Hazan graduated from Ichec Brussels Management School with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business and Managerial Economics in 2015. While in school, he interned at Index Ventures, an entrepreneurial investment company, and Lombard Odier, an asset management and banking technology company. ^[2][3]

Career

From May to September 2016, Hazan worked as a front-end engineer for Property Partner, a property portfolio management firm. He then became a data analyst and growth hacker for SWISH Video, a website that creates personalized playlists for viewers, and worked there until December 2017. ^[3]

In November 2017, Hazan co-founded LitePaper, a knowledge base and online community for crypto, blockchain, and Web3, where he served as CTO. In July 2018, ConsenSys acquired LitePaper, and he became a software engineer for the company. He also co-founded Decrypt Media with Josh Quittner and Ryan Bubinski. In June 2022, he co-founded NFT Factory, a community space that facilitates the discovery of NFTs, connection with ecosystems, and development of projects in the Web3 space. ^[3]
