Nairi Usher, originally from London, serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Flare Network, a layer 1 blockchain focused on facilitating interoperability between various blockchain platforms. Education

Nairi Usher completed her doctoral studies in Quantum Computing at University College London, covering various aspects of quantum computing, including quantum computing models, near-term quantum devices, sampling problems, and Hamiltonian complexity. This academic pursuit spanned four years, from September 2012 to September 2016.
Subsequently, she undertook a postdoctoral role as a researcher in Quantum Machine Learning at UCL for a duration of one year and one month, from July 2017 to July 2018. In this role, she was involved in research areas such as quantum algorithms for cognitive healthcare, the implications of quantum computing for machine learning, testing algorithms on IBM's quantum chip, and contributions to matrix completion. Nairi Usher's prior educational background includes her attendance at the International School of Geneva.^[2][3]

She presently serves as the Chief Scientist at Flare Network. Prior to her current role, she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantum Machine Learning at UCL, where she collaborated with Siemens on the application of quantum algorithms in healthcare and image recognition.
