Co-founded Gyroscope, a non-custodial stablecoin protocol designed to simplify liquidity provision in DeFi. The project was over three years in development before its mainnet launch.

Successfully defended his PhD thesis at Imperial College London. His research, sponsored by the Ethereum Foundation, focused on enhancing the security of distributed ledgers.

The decentralized leveraged token protocol TLX, which Daniel Perez co-founded, was acquired by Synthetix.
