Emma Channing

Emma Channing is a CEO and General Counsel at Satis Group.[1]

Career

Emma started her career in 1999, being a Trainee at Herbert Smith Freehills. Later, she became an Associate there, and then had the same position at Skadden Arps and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. From 2013 to 2014, Emma worked as a Senior Corporate Counsel and Director at Echostar Corporation. In 2014-2016, she served as a Senior Vice President of Legal & Regulatory at Imaging Advantage. Later, she was a General Counsel and Executive Vice President at The Argon Group. Currently, she is a CEO and General Counsel at Satis Group.[2][3]

Emma Channing is currently the General Counsel of the Argon Group, the only technology-first investment bank focused exclusively on the digital finance sector — specifically the emerging digital token-based capital markets. Areas of concentration include global capital markets, corporate finance, M&A, financial regulatory issues, global corporate governance, intellectual property, antitrust laws, fund formation, privacy laws, technology transactions, and energy transactions.

Education

Emma holds a LL.M from Stanford University Law School and University of Durham.
