Sam Dare completed his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, with a focus on Distributed Systems and AI.

Co-authored and published the research paper 'Grail: A Decentralized Network for Pre-training Foundation Models' on arXiv.

Led the team at Covenant AI in what was described as the largest decentralized Large Language Model (LLM) training run for the Covenant-72B model.
