Career

Hailing from Nigeria, he has been involved in the crypto space since his early years. In 2021, He went ahead and founded the SMC DAO project. The project was collectively built by like-minded individuals who share a common vision to capture the full value of the digital realm and shape a better future for themselves and future generations.^[4]

SMC DAO Development

SMC DAO was launched on December 1, 2021, by Sir Mapy. The DAO started as a small community on Telegram to educate people about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies . Every member of the SMC DAO community is called a Believer. In Q4 2023, the community had grown to over 11,645 registered members and is still on the rise.^[6]

On May 12, 2024, Sir Mapy posted the DAO's growth update on his Twitter (X) account.

We just hit 17,000 Believers on SMC DAO platform. We are about to hit 57,000 Believers holding Wiki Cat Coin in their crypto wallet. Talk to a Believer to sign up to smcdao. Also, show them how to buy Wiki Cat Coin. Something big is coming and they will thank you for it.^[5]

SMC DAO has also been instrumental in developing significant projects like Wiki Cat Coin launched on March 20, 2022, and Defi Tiger (DTG) launched on July 4, 2022. The SMC Mega Wallet, a social community app with private and group chat features, as well as a library feature for all of its resources, and Peniwallet, an Android and iOS wallet infrastructure integrated with blockchain nodes.^[6]

We currently working on Peniwallet admin dashboard. This is for me but it is important I keep you updated so you don't think we are chilling on the beach. The goal is to release @peniwallet but we just can't rush some process.^[7]
