Amir Aaronson
Amir Aaronson is the COO of Beam Foundation which developed Beam, a privacy-focused blockchain. He is an entrepreneur and experienced operations professional who has co-founded multiple technology companies and spent most of his career involved in the cryptocurrency industry. [1] [2]
Career
Aaronson worked as an External Brand Sales Manager at Brown Thomas, a luxury lifestyle store in Dublin, Ireland, from 2010 to 2011. In this role, he managed a busy sales environment, conducted monthly inventory checks, and provided daily training to sales employees. [1]
In 2012, he co-founded and became the CEO of MLTL Group LLC, where he created business plans, formed teams, and offered various services to new markets. [1]
Later, in 2015, Aaronson co-founded Fitch, the world’s first autonomous fishing drone, and served as the CEO until August 2017. He led the company’s fundraising, developed strategic planning, and managed operations. He also supervised R&D processes and conducted market research. [1]
Afterward, he became the COO at Playtness, contributing to the tokenization of the fitness industry by creating an ecosystem powered by smart contracts. He then transitioned to COO at Beam, contributing to developing and promoting Beam as a leading confidential cryptocurrency until April 2023. [1]
In June 2023, Aaronson became the COO at Beam Foundation, a non-profit company that works to create a global community of researchers, developers, and activists dedicated to maintaining the Beam ecosystem. He also serves as a DAO Facilitator at Lava Network, a decentralized network of API providers. [1]
