He graduated with a BSc. Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, the #2 AI school in North America. ^[2]

Don is a Data and Analytics professional with extensive global experience. He is currently focused on advancing decentralized AI technologies. His expertise covers various aspects of Web3, Data, AI, and Analytics, including large-scale Data Federation, Machine Learning/Federated Learning, Big Data, and Digital Transformation. ^[2]

Before Don became CEO of Nevermined, he co-founded Keyko and Ocean Protocol and gathered a wealth of data experience at NTT Data, amongst others. After studying Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta, he worked in LA, Tokyo, London, and Berlin. ^[2]

Nevermined

Nevermined is an AI payment protocol that helps Artificial Intelligence (AIs) to get paid. It was founded in February 2022 by Donald Gossen and his Co-founder Aitor Argomaniz^[6] in Zug, Switzerland. ^[5]

Nevermined is a Data Ecosystem platform that leverages Web3.0 technology, Federated Learning frameworks, and privacy-preserving techniques to create the right blend of capabilities and incentives for participants to share data and contribute resources back to the ecosystem. Nevermined enables a new era that allows collaboration in the de-facto standard in the most competitive industries. Because Nevermined leverages a unique data provenance protocol and offers an architecture-agnostic framework, any entity connecting to the ecosystem can consume and process data or any other digital asset (algorithms, computation, etc.) available inside or outside of their premises, without moving the underlying data assets. ^[7]
