Education
Andreoli studied mechanical engineering at ETH Zürich, earning a Bachelor of Science degree between 2008 and 2012 and a master’s degree with a focus on energy science and robotics from 2012 to 2014. During his studies, he also participated in an industrial engineering exchange program at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2013. He later completed a Master of International Business degree at Hult International Business School between 2014 and 2016 and attended a Stanford University program in big data and large-scale data analysis in 2015. Career
Andreoli began his career in engineering and technology roles, including work as a powertrain modeling engineer with AMZ Racing and a quality engineering internship at IBM in Brazil. He later worked as a software engineer at Airlight Energy and Prudential Financial, contributing to engineering and data-focused projects.
Between 2013 and 2017, he co-founded several startup initiatives, including the laundry services platform WashMyPants and the insurance-related venture myinsurance. He also co-founded a Switzerland-based cryptocurrency mining company focused on renewable energy-powered mining infrastructure. During this period, he participated in startup mentorship and developer community initiatives through AngelHack and worked as a product manager at Floatech Marine.
From 2016 to 2019, Andreoli served as a senior blockchain consultant at Frontier Network, working on blockchain, artificial intelligence, and emerging technology initiatives. He later joined Digital Asset as a developer relations engineer, where he contributed to developer engagement, technical content, and community-building efforts related to distributed ledger technology and the DAML smart contract language.
In 2021, Andreoli joined Consensys in developer relations roles focused on Ethereum infrastructure and Web3 tooling, including MetaMask, Infura, Besu, and Linea. He later became director of developer relations, overseeing developer education, ecosystem engagement, partnerships, and technical outreach initiatives across Ethereum and Layer 2 technologies. He has also served as a founding venture partner at Oui Capital, an early-stage investment firm focused on technology startups in sub-Saharan Africa. [1] [2]
